We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps team in streamlining our software development processes and enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, team leadership, and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Set clear objectives and goals for the team, and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives, driving the adoption of best practices and tools for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps processes and standards across the organization.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions, leveraging cloud platforms ( GCP preferred) and containerization technologies.
- Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring fast and reliable delivery of software releases.
- Monitor and optimize CI/CD workflows for efficiency, performance, and scalability.
- Establish monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and respond to system issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Define incident response procedures and lead the team in resolving production incidents, conducting post-incident reviews, and implementing preventive measures.
- Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments, and collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
- Foster strong partnerships with development, operations, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility
- Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders, providing regular updates on DevOps initiatives, progress, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience of 3 years in a DevOps leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing and scaling DevOps teams
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps methodologies, tools, and best practices, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration, deployment automation, and site reliability engineering (SRE)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (advantage for GCP), containerization technologies, Kubernetes, configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and technologies, and actively participate in industry forums and conferences
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence change at all levels of the organization.
