As a member of our purple security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, infrastructure, and products. Your main goals will be to monitor and assess systems’ cybersecurity state, respond and mitigate cybersecurity incidents and further develop the cybersecurity solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security systems, networks, and applications to detect and respond to potential security threats.
- Analyze SIEM data to detect cyber threats.
- Monitor the network for unusual events or trends.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and recommend remediation measures.
- Support incident response activities and perform root cause analysis to identify security breaches and prevent future incidents.
- Inform the organization of any new high/critical vulnerabilities and exploits.
- Work with the engineering and security teams to provide actionable reporting, find and explain security issues, suggest mitigations, and determine when issues are mitigated.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies, such as AV, EDR, IDS/IPS, content filtering, application security, vulnerability and risk management.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall, vulnerability scanners.
- Knowledge of web application security concepts, OWASP, and common attack vectors.
- Good command of English language, both written and spoken.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- High degree of initiative and ability to work with little supervision.
- Enthusiastic about the security industry and driven to continue learning and developing new skills.
Advantages:

- Knowledge of any scripting language (Bash, Python, Powershell, Go) and ability to develop scripts for automation and simplifying data parsing and collection will be considered as an advantage.
