Junior Software Support Engineer

Mellon Bulgaria EAD, member of Mellon Group of Companies, a leading multinational group with corporate headquarters located in Athens Greece, offering front-end and back-end transaction solutions and services to organizations with strong consumer business, such as Retail Banks, Public Utilities, Telecommunications Providers and large Private Companies, is currently seeking to hire a Junior Software Support Engineer.

Main responsibilities:

• Supporting Software Solutions for MELLON clients
• Participate in new installations, configuration and testing of systems and new software versions for existing and new clients
• Communication with clients for identification of business requirements for new Software Solutions
• Assisting the development teams by providing customer feedback and channeling the communication between the customer specialists and the development teams
• Performs system and user administration
• Provide administration services for applications, including: application monitoring, application maintenance and troubleshooting, performance and security optimization
• Provides second level application support, troubleshoots problems in conjunction with external vendors - Prepares ad hoc reports as requested
• Plan, test and execute application related changes
• Manage configuration and operability of existing solutions
• Test and release bug fixes
• Manage the release process in UAT and Production environments for new versions of the applications

Requirements

• Knowledge in Administrating Windows OS; TCP/IP networks
• Familiar with Web technologies (HTTP/HTTPs, HTML, CSS, Java Script) will be considered as an advantage
• Experience in POS and QA testing will be considered as an advantage
• Basic knowledge of SQL programming language and the basic Networking concepts is an advantage
• University degree in Computer Science, IT or related will be considered as an advantage
• Good English language skills
