We are currently looking for an Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bulgaria.

By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in the assessment and validation of the electrical designs developed by the Engineering Headquarter and other subcontractors. You'll develop autonomously specific designs or portions of them in compliance to the project design criteria.

Your role will encompass:

  • Studies and understands the technical documents to be used in projects as electric designs and technical specifications
  • Crosschecks and finds possible discrepancies, lacks, errors, or other issues
  • Develops autonomously specific drawings, reports, tables and makes all the necessary electrical calculations
  • Reports verbally on a daily basis to the Engineering Manager regarding the documents revised
  • Collaborates with the engineering team for the development of large PV systems
  • Supervises and supports subcontractor activities and compliance to the design
  • Keeps up to date with changes to technical regulations
  • Monitors and ensures subcontractors quality check
  • Implements the project quality control program

What you bring to the role:

  • University or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Advanced use of AutoCAD software
  • Experience in design of LV and MV systems (design of HV systems is considered an advantage)
  • Technical competence in photovoltaics (design of PV systems is considered an advantage)
  • Knowledge of the Italian Laws and Standards on the electric design and connection to the grid of Power Stations
  • Ability to work in team
  • Work under pressure
  • 2 years experience in design as specified above
  • Further experience in related fields as Solar Power Plant construction and commissioning will be evaluated
  • Consultancy and studies on RE Systems will be evaluated
