Over the last nine years, Forward Partners has built a successful Venture Capital business. We are excited to be partnering with ClusterMarket to support them in hiring a Senior Frontend Software Engineer.
This role is based in Bulgaria, with the need to travel to our office in Central Sofia once a month.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer who can help us scale our business by delivering effective technology solutions. We are a fast-growing tech company with a target audience in life sciences (academia and industry). Our business is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer who can help us scale our business by delivering effective technology solutions.
The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge and broad experience in both evaluating and implementing different software architecture styles. At the same time, this role requires you to be fully hands-on and coding on a daily basis using JavaScript and you will be heading a small team of two other mid-level developers.
Duties
- Guiding a small team of two other front-end developers. This includes:
- Extracting the Front-End from an existing Ruby on Rails application.
- Writing high-quality DRY code using the Test Driven Development principles
- Having ownership of the overall code quality of the team and performing code reviews of the other team members in your team.
- Continuously improve product quality by writing effective tests, identifying places that require refactoring and specifying acceptance testing criteria for the team.
Requirements
What You’ll Need
- JavaScript ES6
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries like (React, Svelte, Angular, and Backbone)
- Experience with an API-oriented service architecture using either a RESTful or GraphQL API.
- CI/CD tools and automation
- Test Driven Development using (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Nightwatch, etc.)
- Source Control with Git and GitLab with various flows
Bonus points if you are familiar with either:
- Software Security and automated static security scanners
- Service-oriented architecture
- Svelte
