TransferMate Global Payments are looking for a Business Analyst to assist with the continued success of our API and Integrated Solutions products. TransferMate’s API’s are a key product to drive the continued growth and success of the business. TransferMate’s API’s allow our partners to embed cross-border payments into their platforms, creating a seamless experience for our mutual end customers. TransferMate, in turn, also integrates with our partners Enterprise Platform API’s to create cross-border payment apps.
This role will serve as a subject matter expert on the TransferMate API and Integrated Solutions product set. The role will have a deep understanding of the TransferMate business model both the products we sell and the services model we employ.
Requirements
- Ensure TransferMate’s API technology stack remains best-in-class across payouts, payins, and account issuance. Measure API adoption, usage and retention across partner and customer base; benchmark against industry.
- Detail functional, as well as Enterprise level non-functional security and compliance feature requirements for TransferMate’s API’s.
- Collaborate with development community, technology partner platforms at various levels to research and validate functional requirements. Elicit requirements using Interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, competitor analysis and task and workflow analysis.
- Create detailed functional designs and process flows, using Agile methodologies and tools; story writing and validation including conditions of satisfaction.
- Take ownership of the delivery of features and capabilities throughout the development process of both functional and non-functional requirements. Work closely with engineers to ensure the product is being built to specifications
- Lead the Functional testing efforts and support users during User Acceptance Testing.
- Ensure quality, accuracy and completeness of customer communications including training materials, online help, release notes and any other defined customer communication material.
- The candidate must demonstrate how they have made an impact in their previous roles. We are looking for a Business Analyst committed to making our partners experience of consuming TransferMate’s API’s a seamless experience.
- Self-motivated, with an understanding of API platforms and a passion for the FinTech industry.
- 3+ Years relevant experience gained as a Business Analyst within a fast paced, complex business environment. Enterprise platform and partner management experience an advantage.
- Experience using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables, consistently delivering results despite competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- This role is technical in nature, and while candidates do not have to be developers themselves, they must be comfortable interacting with platform API’s and interacting with development community. Knowledge of technology system interfaces, application architecture and data integration.
