Our company is currently launching a global 7/24 Security Operation Center (SOC) to detect and respond to cyber security incidents. We are looking for a SOC Deputy Manager to support the SOC operations and report on regional matter directly to the Global SOC Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Optimizing the operational processes;
- Identifying operational issues and making improvements;
- Reporting to the SOC Manager on the issue identified;
- Assisting in the management standard operating procedures;
- Performing quality checking on the deliverables to ensure they are up to industry standards;
- Assisting in the team development with the SOC manager;
- Arranging shifting for the SOC team members;
- Managing the expectations of the SOC members;
- Handle recruitment to ensure the resources are enough to support the SOC operations;
Requirements
- On-call and shifting is required.
- 4+ years of operations management experience;
- Good understanding of operations processes;
- Basic understanding of the security operations, including the Process and Technology;
- Certifications: CISSP / CEH is required; GIAC or other industry-recognized certification is preferred;
- Strong English communication and written skills.
