Our world-class team has delivered sites for over 25 brands with more than 170 sites across 34 markets.


As part of a global expansion strategy, the company has set up a key Sofia technology team of Software Architects, Software Developers, QA Engineers, Project Managers and Technical Support Specialists. In order to support our company strategy, we are currently looking for talented people for the role of:


ECOMMERCE SOLUTION ARCHITECT

SUMMARY:

The Solution Architect is a key business focused, customer facing role within the company, where designs and decisions will be based on sound technical knowledge and commercial reasoning. The ideal candidate will understand the revenue generators in the market and apply this knowledge to leverage own clients development of trade thus guiding retailers’ ecommerce strategy.

This role works closely with the project manager who will organize the team and ensure that the projects are delivered to time and budget. The Solutions Architect works with the Project Manager to oversee the development. This is a highly technical role providing the leadership and technical competence to deliver excellent client solutions. While there is likely to be limited if any hands-on development, exceptional development skills are required in order to make sure the optimal solution is designed and that the developers work to the highest quality.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years in IT of which at least past 3-5 years shall be as Ecommerce Architect, Ecommerce Technical consultant or Development Technical Lead with strong involvement in client interaction.
  • Experience in at least one e-commerce platform, such as: Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Hybris, Intershop or IBM Websphere Commerce.
  • Hands-on software development experience, knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle. Thorough understanding of software engineering practices and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience or knowledge of agile development methodology is highly beneficial
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills, tenacity, drive, proactive, creativity, sound planning and organizational abilities, strong improvement focus, ability to work in a fast-evolving and fast paced environment.
  • Very good verbal and written English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Achievement orientation, creative thinking and enthusiasm
  • Open-minded self-starter, with the ability to pick up things quickly
  • Very good presentation and organizational skills
  • Candidates shall be able to produce:
    • Functional Requirements Document
    • High Level Solution Design
    • Detailed Technical Design
    • Integration Interface Design


ADVANTAGES:

  • Broad and deep experience in large, complex, multi domain, multisite e-Commerce / multichannel projects.
  • Knowledge of ESB products (e.g. Mulesoft).


Resposibilities:

  • Works with IT and business areas professionals from customers to understand the business requirements, supports functional and non-functional requirements definition and provides technical solution that will satisfy client’s expectations.
  • Plans and sets a technical direction considering performance, security, scalability and development best practices.
  • Provides strong technical influence on system architecture;
  • Undertakes technical architecture reviews and discussions;
  • Leads initiatives related to optimizations in various areas (processes, tools, approaches);
  • Provides in depth technical analysis with improvement suggestions and best practice on challenging issues.
  • Guide development teams in creating prototypes as appropriate
  • Recommend approaches to increase revenues and profits of customers through the implementation of eCommerce / multichannel initiatives, both at strategic and tactical level
  • Drives technical innovations and knowledge sharing.
  • Work in Agile development set up, contributes to the backlog.
  • Communicate conceptual ideas.
  • Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the one or more e-commerce platforms
  • Provide in depth knowledge of one or more e-commerce platforms and products
  • Actively participates in workshops with IT and business personnel.
  • Stay up to date with best practices and innovation initiatives in the e-Commerce / multichannel environment
