Job summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to join a fast-paced, Fintech company experiencing hyper-growth transformation. Crypto.com is looking for a mid-career, well-rounded HR leader who has experience in managing end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment to run the HR function in Sofia, Bulgaria. Dual reporting to the SVP based in Sofia as well as Group HR in Hong Kong, this position offers a variety of exciting HR-related initiatives as well as the opportunity to make your mark in this fast-growing company.

Primary job responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the HR function in Bulgaria including but not limited to, talent recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, employee relations, learning and development, performance management, etc., and work closely with HR teams in other offices as required.
  • Partner with our high energy group of stakeholders, hiring managers and talent acquisition teams, both in Bulgaria and internationally across the wider Crypto.com portfolio to understand/align on priority roles, position profile, and search calibration.
  • Lead and coach the local HR team in achieving aggressive hiring targets and project milestones, ensure the quality, timeliness and regulatory compliance of work output and stakeholder management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline/improve/optimize current HR practices and business challenges as they relate to HR, and bring the solution to life.
  • Be a core part of our scale-up transformation, taking HR to the next level within the organization and assist in the organization’s people-related strategy in partnership with the Group HR team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant HR generalist experience, of which 2 years in managerial capacity at minimum, preferably in financial services or technology space.
  • Solid HR foundation in multiple areas including HR Operations, HR Systems, Reward amp; Benefits, Talent Management, Employee Relations; well-versed in EU and Bulgaria statutory requirements and market practice.
  • Recruitment experience preferably in high-volume, mass hiring environment
  • Commercial thinker able to contribute to projects around culture, organizational development, reward and recognition, employee engagement.
  • Strong personal presence and credibility, complemented by excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, motivated and solution-oriented, with the ability to work successfully across multiple cultures and demonstrated success working closely within a team as well as independently.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English, and a proven history of working effectively with people at all levels both inside and outside the Company and within and across a decentralized international and matrixed environment.
  • Willing to work across global time zones, in particular with Asia Pacific.
  • High degree of integrity with the utmost consideration for confidentiality.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup within the Fintech/Tech arena a plus.
  • Educated to a degree level, or equivalent work experience.
