What you’ll be doing
Nerdy Joe is a modern marketing agency located in Canada, specializing in data-driven strategies to help businesses grow. We are currently seeking an experienced On Rotation Bookkeeper to join our team. If you have a passion for numbers and a knack for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and systems
What we’re looking for
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Two years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations
