At Dreamix, we are actively seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team. We are on the lookout for an individual with a robust skill set in data engineering, particularly in Python, Talend, and Cloudera. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing and analyzing large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity and quality.
- Utilize your expertise in Python for scripting and coding tasks related to data processing and analysis.
- Implement ETL processes using Talend or a similar tool to integrate data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Work with Cloudera or a similar tool to manage and optimize big data storage and processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of our data infrastructure.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the data engineering space and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Talend or a similar ETL tool.
- Familiarity with Cloudera or a similar big data platform.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
